“Five Years Time” by Noah and the Whale

Well, it may not have been five years, but it’s been a very long time. Over a year ago, I realized that my online life was taking up a large chunk of my time—time that could be better spent, you know, doing stuff. So I gave up the Twitter, the Facebook and, sadly, this blog.

And I spent more time on family, reading, sketching, crafting, and actual friend-ing. And several months later, I don’t miss Facebook, I don’t miss Twitter, but I do miss blogging. It was nice to have a convenient link to faraway family and school friends and to have my own little piece of the internet for my works in progress, design inspiration and little pick-me-ups.

So now I’m back (yay!), and I look forward to my more platonic relationship with Mr. Interwebs.
